What is steve grissom?

Steve Grissom is a former NASCAR driver who competed in the Cup Series and the Xfinity Series. He was born on August 21, 1963, in Gadsden, Alabama. Grissom began his racing career in the late 1970s, competing in local dirt track events before moving up to the national circuit.

Grissom made his Cup Series debut in 1989 and went on to compete in the series for several years. He recorded one win in the Cup Series at the 1990 Peak AntiFreeze 500 at Dover International Speedway. In the Xfinity Series, Grissom had more success, winning the series championship in 1993 while driving for Diamond Ridge Motorsports.

After retiring from full-time racing, Grissom continued to compete in various racing events, including the ARCA Racing Series and Super Late Model races. He also worked as a driver development coach and mentor for young racers aspiring to make it to the top levels of the sport.
